Last week saw Fourth Day’s teams from London, Manchester, Paris, Casablanca and Berlin pack their bags, don their thermals and head to Iceland for our annual off-site training. And what a fantastic time we had!
From our base at Kjos Lodge in Thingvellir National Park, and later in Reykjavik, we spent three days brainstorming about how to make 2017 Fourth Day’s best year yet. So, what changes can our clients look forward to seeing?

Strengthening our international links
We’ve always been huge advocates of having a joined-up international PR strategy. And now that we have five offices across Europe and Africa, as well as links with agencies in the US and Canada, it’s never been more important for us to make sure our clients are making the most of the Fourth Day group’s worldwide reach.
Internally too, we’re determined to make best use of our collective, global reach. We’ll be surveying clients across various countries to gain greater insight into how PR and marketing differs across Europe and beyond. Look out for our findings later this year.

A bit of content-love
We also heard from Paul, our content director, and Antoine, our France director, about how content is now playing a major role in PR and marketing. We’ve helped several clients on both sides of the English Channel enjoy huge success by creating great content – and supporting this with a well thought-through PR campaign. We’ll be looking to share these experiences with other clients in the coming months.
Keen to practice what we preach, be sure to keep an eye out for Fourth Day content cropping up on our website, in the press, on social media and in in-boxes throughout 2017.

All in all, a jam-packed few days in the heart of an amazingly beautiful landscape! And fortune was really shining down on us as we were lucky enough to share all this under the Northern Lights.
We already can’t wait for next year’s off-site – wherever it may be…
